MONDAY

so i went to school at around 8am cause the whole cca going to pulau ubin for service learning! after a short briefing by teacher, we got on the bus and set off(: we went to changi jetty to take the bumboat to ubin. super fun! and its like the water its so close and stuff. didnt take a picture of it though):

after like 10 mins, we reached pulau ubin! then we walked, walked and walked. by the time i reached this beach, i had like 5 mozzie bites.......so we were at the beach and there was this guy that gave a little lesson on the plants and stuff.

and then we ate lunch, nasi lemak. while eating, we saw a praying mantis.see the brown spot in the middle?
after eating, we cleaned up the beach.
then we walked back. but walking back was torturing because almost all of us ran out of water...
see? all trees...

so we were hoping to find a drink stall and about 30 mins later, we found one but the guy leading us wanted us to see the houses so we walked for another 10 mins....
Finally we saw the drink stall! i think we took like all of their can drinks? hahas. after that was praise and worship. and we walked back to the jetty there.
we took bumboat back, going back was more fun because of the waves so the boat was going up and down(: although this girl was screaming her head off....
when we reached there, we got on the bus and went back to school. and went home.
i think i liked it there.....so peaceful.....the trip would be perfect if it wasnt for the freaking mozzies and the lack of water.....ohya, and i made a new friend too(:

TUESDAY
stupid mozzie bites were still so itchy....
so at 9am, went back to school again for biology remedial...from 9 to 12....at least the room we were in had air-conditioning...we did ten year series and like 30 mcq questions.....miss toh was there too(:
after that, i walked back to class because mr wong gave me this thick stack of notes(note to self: find time to read it). so after putting it under my desk, i walked to the bench outside class to tie my hair. right when i put my bag down, mr k(english teacher) walked out of the staffroom and saw me. after that, conversation....

mr k: hey karen. i need to go through with you the format of argumentative writing. which day are you coming back to school?

me: um, wednesday and friday...and maybe thursday..

mr k: why maybe thursday?

me: oh, because im meeting my friend to study.

mr k: i cant make it on wednesday or friday...tell you what, you sms me when you can make it on thursday.

me: ok. fine.

yah, so after that, went to meet weina, first ate lunch and then went back to school to study.

studied for like super long till about 5 to 5.30pm. by then both of us were going crazy so we went to the newspaper stand there and just flipped through it. and we came cross this picture of this guy wearing a tube top. weina starting laughing her head of and took a picture of it........she claimed that its her motivation............
after that, we packed up and left. we cut through the parade square instead of walking the other way because the principal and 2 teachers were there. so we were walking and then weina told me that our chinese teacher was also walking the same way. before i could turn my head and see, he called me.

mr tay: jie ying!

me:(turning to weina) see? you can leave earlier, you can leave later but you must leave now. and then even if we left now, we can walk the other way but no...you must walk here...

mr tay:(in chinese of course) why didnt you come for chinese remedial yesterday?

me: oh, i had cca

mr tay: where did you guys go?

me: pulau ubin(smiles)

then he asked us why we stayed back and we said to study. and he asked if i taught her or if weina taught me...lol. of course she taught me...

finally one day over

WEDNESDAY
today, i had chinese from 9 to 11.
we did compre. the writing one, not the mcq...
thank God he didnt ask me any questions...(:

after that, went to look for math teacher. and when she was teaching me, weina was also there and she was trying not to laugh. good grief....almost made me laugh.
and then whatever happened there....long story.
so after like an hour, i was like 'could we just stop here?' and she said yes. just nice, my chinese teacher had to walk pass. and he said 'hey mrs wong! giving extra tuition ah?' and do you know what my math teacher said?!?! she was like'yah lor, this girl ah..........'
hmph...( so what, its my fault??????)

after that, went with alison to buy birthday present for her dad.
so we first we went to tampines mall, to those gift shops. but dont you realise that those shops are selling stuff that are more suitable for females?
then we went to tampines one. went to this store that sells like those aroma stuff...and she asked me if she should buy that. i was like 'i dunno. its not my dad...' how in the world was i suppose to know what he likes???
about 20 mins later, we went home.

then i remembered i had to text mr k to ask him what time for thursday.
you know what he replied?
8.30am......
i wanted to say, wow that like REALLY LATE....... so that means have to wake up early.

THURSDAY

while walking to school, for some reason, it was really warm. so by the time i got to the plave outside the staffroom, i couldnt take it anymore, so i went to my table, got my biology file(since i needed to file in the notes) and started fanning myself. about 5 mins later, teacher walks out and said give him 1 minute. i was ok with that, needed more time to cool down.

then he was like 'lets go to somewhere that has air-conditioning. hows that?'
man, the word 'air-conditioning' sounded so good. i said 'yah, good idea.' so we went round trying to find a room.
finally, reached the IT room or something.... and then started talking about argumentative essay...........blah blah....ohya, did you knwo he studied in the US? cool right?. and more blah blah blah.....................then he asked me what subjects am i having trouble with.

mr k: ( not the exact words but you cant expect me to remember everything) so are you having trouble with any subjects?

me: math

mr k: which one, you have two.

me: both

mr k: ok, fair enough. any more?

me: chinese

mr k: understandable.

and blah blah. then we walked to the staffroom coz he was going to give me homework. something along the line of 'since you learnt it, must practise right?'
the topic was 'should both parents go to work when their children are young? what are you views?' oh good grief....are you freaking kidding me. but i was like 'ok, fine.....'

then went to meet weina to study again......we studied outside the staffroom there, the benches and tables. about 1 hour later, a few teachers walked up the stairs. apparently, their meeting was playing badminton...............thats ridiculous.

then late in the afternoon, there were a few workers installing lights, i think. so noisy. couldnt study so went home early.

FRIDAY

i have social studies form 9 to 11....thank God it was held in creativity hall though. air-con!(:

after that, i had chemistry. mr lai told me to take a break first, so i did my essay..... about 5 mins into it, couldnt concentrate to started drawing.(:
then did chem............about 1++, it started raining and mr lai came back from his lunch....yah, left me there and went to eat his lunch. hahas, actually he told me to go eat to but i was made to eat breakfast that morning so im going to quite full for like quite long. but when he came back, he bought bread and gave me one. since outside raining and cant go out to eat. then weina and her friend came down. her friend was going home but weina stayed. he gave her bread too(: hahas.
then chem, chem and more chem.
so in the end, had about 5 hours of chem. yah. but didnt go crazy though. surprisely. but will if its 5 hours of math.....*shudders at that thought*

when i got home, i realised that i have tons of homework!!! so stressed!!! during school holiday!!!

see? i had a BUSY week.

SATURDAY

rushing through homework...

SUNDAY

started amath tuition

after that had chem tuition

took up like half of my day. in the end, didnt go church coz still had tons of homework plus needed to study for geog test. and there was a new timetable and now i have geog first period monday!

yah, so thats it. all of last week. plus, the sunday of this week. tomorrow's post is going to be about this week....i i have the time. BYE!
