SATURDAY
studied the whole day.
and i found out that there's social studies for o'level. so that means that i have 9 papers. oh great.
plus, i have ss exam this week and i didnt understand one of the chapters(which is bonding in singapore, i dont understand this but i understand all the conflict in sri lanka and northern ireland...) so i texted mr koh and asked him if he was free on monday. let me put it in the conversation form again.
me: hey mr koh, karen here. i was wondering, are you free on monday after school?
mr koh: i'll be seeing some people from 3c. you can join in. what do you need help in? cover content or sbq skills?
me: um, cover content.
mr koh: which chapter?
me: uh....chapter 5?
mr koh: how about tuesday?
me: (i suddenly remembered that tuesday after school there's chinese) i think i have chinese on that day.......nvm, i'll let you know again.
mr koh: ok.
but then on monday, i have chemistry....and on wednesday, its reserved for studying whatever. so the only day left is wednesday coz after that is exams.
headache.....
SUNDAY
chatted with catherine on msn!
so you know that if i was still there, i would be in the same science class with her and the science teacher would be the same one i had last year?!?! i was like 'what the...'
and one of our friends, aya, she's homeschooled now because her parents think that she doesnt have any friends in school. uh....are you freaking kidding me? i think thats just wrong.
after that amath tuition. we studied trigo! suprisingly, i understood what the teacher was saying. then why didnt i get it in class?????
anyways, after that i went home and i saw the book that my dad asked uncle desmond to bring back for me. THANKS(:
then, i had to rush to chemistry tuition. our teacher is sick so we are joining another class....the teacher is uh...........i think she's pretty smart but when she tries to explain.....it just maes it worse..
so then when i went back home, had to rush to go church. and i was doing my english homework at the same time....write an introduction in whether you think illegal downloading of music should be banned.
when we got home, i texted mr tay to ask him if i could skip the chinese in tuesday thing.
me: ( i texted in chinese of course. although it was so tempting to do it in english) mr tay, im karen. after school on tuesday, can i not stay back? coz i have to meet my social studies teacher and thats the only day im free.
mr tay: but thats paper 2 test!
me: oh so that means i have to go....ok.
mr tay: yes!
ok.....so by then, i had a major headache....
then i got online and chatted with jerlyn on msn! finally! she had a lot of free time....when i came back, i was rushing here and there....
MONDAY
for pe, we played softball again. it was fun! we kept hitting teachers' cars. hahas. and one of the cars that got hit the most was mr lai's(:
after pe was recess and after that was social studies. but guess what? mr koh didnt come. i was like' oh great..'
after that was english. went through essay writing. didnt pay much attention because for some reason, i wasnt in the mood to classes...
after school went home and left for school again. hahas. chemistry....
TUESDAY
last geog lesson. and we didnt do much...and considering the fact that i havent studied like 3 chapters......im dead..
and during chinese, we had listening compre. not some practice but for final year exam. the last story was ridiculous. but, i passed!!!!!!!!! although it was just passed 10/20...a lot of people got that though....
then it was math. she gave revision papers and guess what?! i can do log!!!(:
and after school, chinese. the paper was super hard. if end of year is going to be like that.....so help me God...
WEDNESDAY
last day of school before exams!!!
during homeroom, mr wong was telling what the minimium attainment to be promoted to sec 4 was. you have to pass english and two other subjects. better than i expected.
and then it was history. while waiting for 3j to finish their lessons, we were waiting outside their class. and i was reading a book. so i was reading and then mr bakar walked past and said 'what are you reading karen?' i was like, how does he know my name? and then, ohya.....nametag....duh. by the time i looked up, he already passed me so i turned around and looked. he was also looking this way and walked towards me. he looked at the book and said something about his wife liking it too? i was like good to know(: ..... hahas. so random.
and during math, i can do partial fractions!!! so happy(:
during chinese, mr tay gave back the test we took, not the paper 2 one but the paper 1 one. omg............my results were so ): ....although i just saw the results for one of them...heh heh. however, weina was depressed too. but for an entirely different reason. she lost her wallet.
so once class ended and after i took everything from under my desk, we went to the canteen to see if its still there.
its not.
we went to the lost and found and she asked the lady there if someone turned in a wallet.
she nodded her head. weina asked if its pink. and the lady nodded her head again and gave it to weina. wow. all of a sudden, just like that, she was so happy and hyper..wanted to smack her...
then we went to my house so that i can dump everything at home and not carry them everywhere. after that, we ate prata. almost couldnt finish it.
while eating, mr koh texted-karen, when are you coming to see me
i was like looking at weina and showed her the text. she was like 'huh? so you going to see him? then we no need to study already lah....'
so i replied: omg......are you free tomorrow?
he said: are you in school now? today better coz got students meeting him tomorrow.
by the time i saw that, i was back in school.
and i said: i am, but im studying for other subjects till like 5? unless its like after that.....
he replied: ok.
then i got confused ok as in he got it or ok as in after 5. so....
i asked: uh, so after 5?
he said: yes. (then like 5 seconds after that) will you be tired?
what a question....so what if i said i was? then i'll meet him tomorrow? but got people meeting him tomorrow....
then i said: nah.....so meet where?
he said: canteen.
i thought i asked him a pretty stupid question because i could already see that he was in the canteen with someone else....but after a long day at school, you cant really think straight...hahas.
then while studying, we were stuck at this math question and just nice, weina's amath teacher and mr k walked out. at first i just looked up and down at the paper again. then i was like 'isnt one of them my teacher?' so i looked up again and yup, mr k. so i waved to him. then after he got back from wherever he went, he came and asked am i doing ok. i was like 'uh. no?' he was like 'why?' i said 'because! its so stressful' and do you know what he said? 'but doesnt make you feel more alive?' i said under my breath 'if anything, it makes a person feel like he doesnt want to be alive...' hahas.
and then met mrs toh! she asked why we were still at school? did we punish ourselves or someone punish us. hahas. we said that we were studying and she sadi why do it there, there's no wind. and when she left, about 5 mins later, a gust of wind came and blew our papers down the the first level. hm....no wind huh. lol(:
then went down to the canteen for social studies...didnt have much time to study with weina...and we went through chapter 5, bonding singapore. about ahlfway through, mr lai walked down and then asked me if weina found her wallet. i was like 'yah'. he asked 'at the canteen?' i said 'oh no, at the lost and found. yah.' then, mr ali and mr koh were both like 'damn lucky!' hahas. and mr lai said 'smsed me that she lost her wallet. i replied back tell me for what?' hahas. that was funny, started laughing my head off(:
around 6.20, finished ss. and by then, there were quite a number of sec 4 people there coz of the night study. they will be at the creativity hall for self study.
and after that, went home and studied english. kept reading essays. NEXT DAY ENGLISH EXAM!!!
THURSDAY
english exam!!! paper one was kinda ok. i did the first question which was what are the advantages and disadvantages of listening to music. and i read a similar essay the night before!(: and you know what? the last topic was 'luck' and i read an essay about it too! and if i memorised it, i could just dump that whole thing there! man.....
paper 2 was ok too. but by the time i got to passage B, i was suddenly super tired. so to me passage B was confusing...
went got home, studied social studies.....next day, exam again..........
FRIDAY
social studies exam-sbq was hard! didnt finish the exam!!!!!! i was doing sbq and when i got to 1(d), i didnt know how to do, so i skipped to the essay questions. i did the conflict and bonding singapore one(: so my ss exam, i lost 7 marks....
after that, went with jiawen, clarissa, jeslyn and daniel to century square for lunch. at first, we were suppose to study too but......hahas. then about 12.15, we head back to school for chem. guess what? he only went through that worksheet which had only about 2 to 3 questions....we waited for like 2 hours for him to go through that few questions........
after i went back home, i studied geog. i know im suppose to study chinese, but no chinese could get into my head so...
and then went down to buy dinner, guess who we saw?! pastor chee!!!(: havent seen him for a long time.
after eating dinner studied geog again and glanced through chinese.....
after that, watched amazing race!!(: i mean, i have to tae a break if not i'll go crazy.
SATURDAY
man, im so tired even after like 9 to 10 hours of sleep.....
i studied chinese(: *pats myself on the back* finally....
then saw my dad's email. something about seeing which poster i wanted, you know those deco things that you hang on the wall? yah, so i chose one of them. and then he called and he said that nvm, i'll just take both of them(: how nice(: and do you know that he packed like 50+ boxes already? wow.....i think thats all he does there now... and he bought stuff for my teachers? those who helped me, as in like one to one, i think.....so there's like 6? hahas.
and just downstairs, there's pasar malam! man, all those food.....
and last but not least, studied geog.....only got through one chapter.....
SUNDAY
early in the morning started studying geog...
then went for math tuition. we did trigo again! why is it that i understand what he's saying and can do all the questions on the worksheet but once it comes to like tys and stuff, im stuck...
and you know what he said? he said that my math is pretty good, im able to do all the questions and understand what he's teaching, if only i came back earlier...i was like 'yah........' heard that tons of times already....if i came back earlier....
after that, went to chem tuition. on the way there, i went to eastpoint to find popular. went all the way to the 6th floor and couldnt find it...when i came down, realised that it was on the 4th floor. but then i only had like 5 mins left till tuition. so i rushed to tuition. i think my chem is better now coz at least i knew how to do like 70% of the questions? yay!(:
after that went popular and bought HI5 for my sister.....my mom asked me to buy....$14.90....
then went to church. ended up studying there too...geog(:
and now, have no choice but to study for chinese......
