saw barry on ET in the morning!(:
and then mr tay didnt come for Chinese lesson again....so we had to do some other worksheet....yuck.
and its official. im redoing sec 3 again. went for this advisory program thing. and then mr ng was explaining. and he made it seem ok to stay back. like explain that i came back mid year and only had few months to prepare. and even with that, some subject teachers thought that it wasnt bad and if i had the whole year, i would do really well. so im doing sec 3 again( at least im not the only one) and they are letting me take the same subjects.
FRIDAY
last day of school!
got back report book. up till now, i still havent seen it yet. heh heh
then met with teachers. well, i was suppose to meet mr chia but then i didnt know if i was suppose to meet mr wong. so i was just sitting there waiting. and then mr chia came in. and he basically gave the same talk as mr ng. except this was longer...way longer.
something along the line of 'i want you to know the reason why you are redoing sec 3. we dont want you to feel its because your results are sucky or whatever but given the circumstances, you were able to produce such results and its not bad so we're giving you another year and you will definitely do better.' and stuff like that. and they make it seem as if i was feeling suicidal
then met jerlyn. we went to swensens and bought ice cream(: i needed some cheering up.
and while ordering, you know what she asked?
so there was this dish which was otah spring roll. and she asked the waiter, 'whats in this?'
then waiter was like 'otah'
hahas. i was like ' thats like asking if....'
and she helped me finished 'are chicken wings made of chicken?'
and i said 'no, they are made of duck.' and we started cracking up
and then we walked around tampines mall and then went to tampines 1. bought a magazine which i planned to read at the jogathon. after that, we were job hunting for jerlyn. only managed to find 2.
then i was rushing to bedok reservoir for the jogathon. and i was late for my league of the jog so i was switched to run with eunice and doreen. and before we ran, we had to assemble first and mr chiang was kinda leading us through cheers first. and a few people werent following along. and the was this girl brigade girl. and mr chiang was like 'your mom told you not to talk to strangers ah? but im not a stranger. im mr chiang. let me introduce myself. hi im mr chiang and you are? so now can you open your mouth?' hahas. hilarious.
then we ran for like 1.3km. it was ok. and then, eunice and i were walking back and we were like at the middle of the track. and suddenly we heard 'chosen generation, move to the side' it was mr chiang. we were laughing.
then eunice, doreen, mario and i went to buy drinks. and then mario kept saying there was this store that sells drinks and then he said' actually, i lied. i just wanted to bring you guys here to see the birds.' i started screaming. and he was laughing. then we passed by this cat which was cute and two other cats.
and while walking back, we realised that there was a bubbletea shop just like right opposite of where we started walking. so we were all mad at mario. and then we walked back. and there was this game of sumo wrestling which was super funny.
and then we met mr k and chi yue. they were like 'hey! where did you guys get the drinks?!?!' and we said 'uh, we bought it over there'
then we went back to where we put our bags and by then i was done with my milo and i was still thirsty so eunice, doreen and i went back to the bubbletea shop. i bought bubbletea and they bought french fries.
then we walked back and saw chi yue and mr k again, this time with bubbletea in their hands. they said that they couldnt find us and we said that we couldnt find them. ohya, i was reading the magazine i bought earlier. i stayed back to chat while eunice and doreen went back to the bags there. mr k was like 'super fantastic. reading magazine. well done karen.' i was like 'we're going to be here for like 4 hours and only going to be occupied for like 30 mins?'
then we were suppose to gather at the tent there. and had this ceremony thing.
then we went home and there were tons of people waiting for bus. and then by the time i reached the interchange, it was raining heavily. but thank God that He held the rain(:
